A '55 plate 26 seat Caetano Optimo V, formerly owned by Commandery of Worcester, has joined the fleet of Smiths Coaches of Blofield, near Norwich who already operates an older Optimo model. As well as featuring Fainsa seats with 3 point belts the coach also offers passengers the benefit of a hot drinks dispenser. |
| 4th May 2010 - KVC Sprinter for Compass of York
Compass Travel of York has acquired a 2006 KVC converted Mercedes Benz 413 cdi Sprinter coach after contacting Minis to Midis. The coach was originally owned by a Lancashire operator and features extended coach rear with tailgate and large boot, powered entrance door and air conditioning. Prior to delivery to Compass a new dvd/cd combined player was installed with drop down monitor. |
| 4th May 2010 - Unvi Cimo for Expresslines
Minis to Midis has assisted Expresslines of Bedford in the purchase of an Unvi Cimo from a Surrey operator. Painted in silver metallic the vehicle features 33 seats plus courier, air conditioning and double glazing and is based on the Mercedes Benz 1022L chassis with manual gearbox. |
| 4th May 2010 - 16 seat Sprinter 413cdi makes it two for Devon Road
Rochester based Devon Road have also purchased this 2004 Mercedes Benz Sprinter from Minis to Midis that features a new luxury accessible conversion by Excel with a Ratcliff underfloor tail-lift. The vehicle seats 16 passengers or 11 seated and two passengers in wheelchairs. |

Devon Road Ltd of Rochester, Kent have acquired a 2004 Optimo V coach which features 24 seats, courier seat and air conditioning from a London operator via Minis to Midis as part of a two vehicle purchase. |

Commandery Coaches of Worcester has recently taken delivery of this new Unvi Cimo XL 35 seat coach. Featuring courier seat, air conditioning, double glazing, dvd and reverse camera, the coach also benefits from a large rear boot and full length luggage locker to the nearside. |
| 17th Feb 2010 - Air Conditioned Nouvelle for Paul R.J. Yeoell
Paul R.J. Yeoell of Orpington is now operating a 33 seat automatic air conditioned Optare Nouvelle following an introduction from Minis to Midis. The purchase will enable the Kent operator to cater for larger groups and the automatic gearbox is "ideally suited to operation in the London and Kent areas." |
| 12th Feb 2010 - Cheetah for Handleys
R. Handley of Middleham near Leyburn, N. Yorkshire has recently purchased this 2001 Plaxton Cheetah 29 seat coach with extra large boot. Originally belonging to Pearces of Wallingford in Oxfordshire as a 25 seater, the seating capacity was increased to 29 in conjunction with a retrim for its last owner. |
| 15th Jan 2010 - Compass starts with KVC Sprinter
New operator Compass Travel from Crawfordsburn, Co. Down has purchased a 2004 Mercedes Benz 413 cdi Sprinter with original 16 seat KVC conversion featuring forced air ventilation, dvd and curtains plus rear bulkhead/luggage area and front spoiler fitted by Excel Conversions. David and Ann Irwin flew into Robin Hood Doncaster Airport and then drove the vehicle home via Stranraer. |
| 2nd Jan 2010 - Unvi Riada 616 for Haines Minicoaches
Haines Minicoaches of Banstead, Surrey recently took delivery of a 2007 Unvi Riada 22 seat coach based on the Mercedes Benz 616 Sprinter chassis. The coach, supplied via Minis to Midis from a London operator, features air conditioning, double glazing, courier seat, dvd, refrigerator, optional tables and large luggage capacity and was previously used primarily on short tours to France. |
