Issues
Noise sensitive,
Frightened of thunder, hides behind settee, won’t go outside,
Terrified of fireworks, shakes and pants uncontrollably, is sick and pees in house, won’t eat,
Lunges at traffic,
Digestive problems, very picky eater, eats on and off.
Observations
Dislikes touch around tail and hindquarters,
Tension in neck and ears,
Unbalanced stance and gait,
Dislikes legs and paws being touched,
Coat changes on back legs: fur dryer, duller and fluffier,
Hot spots on thighs,
Back legs stiff,
Uneven movement and flexibility through hips,
Easily distracted, lacks focus.
TTouch Techniques
Groundwork,
Body wrap/t-shirt,
Ear work,
Tail work,
Mouth work.
Outcomes
Fear of thunder and fireworks markedly reduced, still retreats behind sofa but no longer shakes and pants and is able to cope with coming out, following family around house, going outside of the house for a wee and eating,
Much calmer and more relaxed in these situations,
Lunging at vehicles greatly reduced.
