on qualifying as a P1
Lesleyann Jones is a TTouch Companion Animal Practitioner (P1) based in Cambridge who discovered TTouch when the series ‘Talking to Animals’ first aired in the UK on ITV in 2003. It featured Sarah Fisher, the UK’s highest qualified TTouch Practitioner for both equines and companion animals.
The series was an inspiration and Lesleyann was drawn to this gentle and respectful yet highly effective way of working with animals. A short time after she bought and read founder Linda Tellington-Jones’ book ‘The Tellington TTouch’ and started practicing the techniques on her own animals with amazing results.
Lesleyann started her three year training to become a TTouch Companion Animal Practitioner in 2006 and qualified as a P1 in March 2009. She has studied with Linda Tellington-Jones herself, and other top instructors including Linda’s sister Robyn Hood, Edie-Jane Eaton,
Sarah Fisher and Tina Constance.
Lesleyann has lived with dogs and small animals all her life and has found TTouch invaluable for helping not only her own pets with a variety of issues but also those unlucky enough to find themselves in shelters. She is currently working in Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas helping clients and their animals with TTouch, as well as holding client days and workshops in South Yorkshire.
Lesleyann teaches TTouch techniques to staff and volunteers at various local shelters and will be running introductory TTouch workshops throughout 2011.
