Minis to Midis makes key appointment to General Manager

In a significant move to strengthen the management team Doncaster based coach dealership Minis to Midis has appointed Paul J. Gardner to the new position of General Manager. Paul, aged 37, is director Alan White’s eldest son and brings extensive motor industry experience to the post, joining from MAN Bus and Coach where he held the position of General Manager.

His initial training in vehicle sales was gained in 2002-3 with Riverside Volvo of Doncaster with whom the White family have a long standing relationship. From there he joined Dawsonrentals until 2004 before achieving a significant appointment with Evobus where he fulfilled the role of Sales Manager North for bus sales until 2010. Paul then joined MAN’s Bus and Coach division initially as Key Account Manager.

Commenting on his appointment Paul stated, “I thoroughly enjoyed my time at MAN and I have a high regard for the management and staff who helped build a successful team for the Bus and Coach Division. The opportunity to join the family business, however, was one I could not refuse and I look forward to playing a significant part in the company’s further expansion.”

Alan White added, “I am delighted Paul has joined our family business as we move to strengthen the team to cope with our growth. He will initially oversee the whole sales function of the company and additions to the sales team. I am confident he will establish an excellent working relationship with the directors of Brian Noone Ltd for whom we act as agents in Great Britain, as new models are added to the Turas range and we further develop the business.”
