3rd Jul 2010 - Unvi launches 2 year body warranty click to enlarge Unvi, the Spanish manufacturer with plants in Ourense, Spain and Porto in Portugal that produce the Touring, Cimo, GT, Classic and Vega model ranges, has announced the inclusion of a 2 year body warranty* on selected models available in the UK. This will compliment the 2 year chassis warranty offered by Mercedes Benz and is only available on vehicles purchased from authorised Unvi dealers, including Minis to Midis of course. Full details are available on request. *Restrictions apply to certain ancillary components.

25th May 2010 - Showroom open Spring Bank Holiday week click to enlarge Our Doncaster showroom will be open from 9am to 5pm from Tuesday 1st June to Friday 4th June inclusive and outside these hours by appointment. New examples of VW Crafter, Optare Soroco and Toro, Caetano Optimo V and Unvi GT will be on display. A warm welcome awaits all visitors. 30th Apr 2010 - INDOOR SHOWROOM NOW OPEN click to enlarge We are pleased to announce that our indoor showroom is now open in Doncaster just 5 minutes from junction 4 of the M18 motorway east of Doncaster. We offer undercover viewing and a welcoming drink. As our main office remains separate for the time being, viewing continues to be by appointment but we will always do our best to accommodate visitors. A small but ever changing selection of new and pre-owned models are on display from our own, manufacturer and commission stock. As we continue to carry out a high level of sales activity in the field, particularly on behalf of operators, and Alan prefers to deal with clients personally, please ring prior to making your way to Doncaster on 01302 833203. 19th Apr 2010 - UK Coach Rally click to enlarge Tim, Lesleyann and Alan attended a highly successful UK Coach Rally at the East of England Showground, Peterborough on a glorious weekend where we displayed a new Optare Soroco 19 seater and new 22 seat Toyota Optimo V alongside the Unvi exhibits. The event was extremely well run and showed much potential at the new location which has replaced Brighton. We were able to meet with many new and existing customers and thank everyone for the time they gave us. We are also grateful to Optare and Caetano who provided some sponsorship towards our attendance at the event.

17th Feb 2010 - MINIS TO MIDIS TO SELL NEW OPTIMO RANGE click to enlarge Caetano UK has appointed Minis to Midis to sell the new Toyota Optimo midicoach. The model range, based on the world renowned Toyota Coaster chassis, offers seating capacities from 21 to 26 in two body widths with high level coach specification. Commenting on the appointment, Alan White, director of the Doncaster based dealer/brokerage said, “We are delighted with the appointment and look forward to offering such a highly regarded and established product with an excellent warranty package and support structure in place. The Optimo will fit neatly into our new model portfolio complimenting our 16/19 seat and 29 to 41 seat offerings from Excel, Optare and Unvi. John Dunn and myself feel the appointment will be beneficial to both companies and offer customers another key avenue of supply. Simply dial 0800 1123652 and you will be able to discuss your requirements or leave a message and someone will call you back. 19th Nov 2009 - Unvi establishes UK base and appoints Minis to Midis click to enlarge Unvi, the bus and coach builder with plants in Spain and Portugal, is establishing its own UK facility near Preston in Lancashire following the closure of Esker Bus and Coach. The existing Touring, Cimo, GT and Classic model range continue to be available. Unvi are keen to enhance the after market experience of their customers and the Preston facility will form the hub of the company’s parts and warranty activities providing a direct line of communication to ensure a speedy response. An Unvi authorised service network will provide parts and warranty support in Scotland and the south of England. We are pleased to confirm that Minis to Midis has been appointed as an authorised sales agent in support of Unvi Bus and Coach (UK) Ltd. A dedicated Unvi web page is now available on this site.

4th Nov 2009 - New Look Website click to enlarge After 4 years of steadfast service we decided the website had earned a 'freshen up'. Tim, our IT Manager, assisted by Lesleyann, has painstakingly created a new look featuring the colours now used in our weekly advertising and we hope all our visitors find the new layout more appealing. Tim and Lesleyann are shown just prior to commencing the task.
