27th Jun 2011 - LEZ LISTING CLARIFICATION click to enlarge To avoid any confusion we have now modified the LEZ categorisation on our website listing. Any vehicle that currently meets the LEZ requirements but will not in January 2012 is now marked LEZ 2011 compliant. Any vehicle that will continue to meet the compliance standards in 2012 is marked LEZ 2012. This includes vehicles whose original emissions standard already complied with LEZ 2012 or whose exhausts have been upgraded to comply with LEZ 2012. Customers listing their own vehicles for sale on the website now have the choice to select LEZ 2011 or LEZ 2012. If in doubt please contact us on 01302 833203.

28th May 2011 - Dad's Army Tours, Thetford click to enlarge Enthusiasts of the famous Dad's Army TV series, made on location in and around the Norfolk town of Thetford from 1968 to 1977, should visit the link on the right hand side of our web page. There is also a banner that appears at the foot of some of our web pages. On a recent family visit we were fortunate to join a guided walking tour that featured locations used during filming and terminated at the Dad's Army Museum in the town including a refreshing cup of tea or coffee in the recently opened 'Marigold Tea Room'. The tours start at the Captain Mainwaring statue adjacent to the car park in the centre of the town. The Friends of the Museum provide enthusiastic and informative commentary supported by a plethora of photographic memorabilia, set recreation and souvenirs. Highly recommended, especially for smaller parties, and a perfect inclusion as part of a tour itinerary as private groups can be accommodated. 19th Nov 2010 - UNVI LAUNCHES COACHBUILT VEGA GT click to enlarge Our main product supplier Unvi, who has manufacturing plants in Spain and Portugal, this week launched its all new Mercedes Benz Sprinter based fully coachbuilt Vega GT at Spain's FIAA Bus and Coach Exhibition in Madrid. Alan White was there to view the product on behalf of already interested parties in the UK and was not disappointed. With distinct styling and an extremely high quality of finish this coachbuilt Vega is set to become the perfect flagship for Unvi's comprehensive Sprinter based range of models. Designed to carry up to 19 passengers within a luxurious interior and featuring hi-line windscreen, panoramic double glazing, air conditioning, convection heating, powered plug door with lowered entrance steps and market leading luggage capacity with large boot and side lockers, the Vega Gt will be available from April 2011 in the UK. Orders are already being taken at a competitively preferential price for those who have been keen enough to be amongst the first to operate the new product upon its arrival into the UK. More chassis have been ordered so order now to avoid disappointment.

3rd Jul 2010 - Unvi launches 2 year body warranty click to enlarge Unvi, the Spanish manufacturer with plants in Ourense, Spain and Porto in Portugal that produce the Touring, Cimo, GT, Classic and Vega model ranges, has announced the inclusion of a 2 year body warranty* on selected models available in the UK. This will compliment the 2 year chassis warranty offered by Mercedes Benz and is only available on vehicles purchased from authorised Unvi dealers, including Minis to Midis of course. Full details are available on request. *Restrictions apply to certain ancillary components.
